A Finance and Marketing graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business, Eric Chang had a successful start in corporate, co-founding a digital marketing agency dubbed, Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies in the US by Entrepreneur Magazine. Integrating his business expertise with his passion for art and design, he partnered with his childhood friend, Daniel Hellman to establish the luxury furniture line Hellman-Chang. 

Now in its fourteenth year, the handmade line sits at the forefront of the ultra-luxury furniture industry, where it played a major role in originating the recent “Brooklyn Renaissance” movement. Servicing a client list that ranges from the homes and offices of Fortune 500 CEO’s, to Hollywood’s A-list, international royalty, and luxury hotels worldwide, the brand has also been featured in entertainment ranging from the set of The Today Show to Sex and the City 2 and Gossip Girl. With Chang at the creative helm, they have won multiple awards and notable press from the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, and Interior Design Magazine

A tastemaker in the world of aesthetics, Chang’s personal style and influence have been covered by the likes of Esquire, Details, Robb Report, Canali, Annie Leibovitz for UBS Bank, and Cadillac. He is also a frequent speaker, podcast guest, lecturer, and panelist at industry markets and art functions. His industry leadership brought him to serve as the President of the Decorative Furnishings Association: the Interior Design Industry’s largest non-profit organization made up of designers, manufacturers, major publications, showrooms, and design centers, focused on growing and modernizing the business of the Interior Design trade.

Tracy Morris

Tracy Morris Design

Celebrating 20 years in business this year, Tracy Morris of Tracy Morris Design specializes in residential interior design in the Washington, DC region, as well as nationwide and beyond. Known for her clean and refined aesthetic, Tracy, a fourth generation Washingtonian, approaches each project with a holistic viewpoint, designing spaces with her eye on an end product that speaks to her client’s personal style.

While Tracy designs an array of projects—from 20,000-square-foot luxury homes to townhome and condo renovations with a few commercial spaces in the mix—Tracy specializes in new custom builds, working closely with the clients and teams of architects and builders for jobs that start with an empty lot and often take years to complete. This expertise in the construction process, from pouring the foundation to fluffing the pillows and all the design selections in between, is what’s truly rewarding to Tracy and what sets her apart from others in the design industry.

Emily Pool

David Sutherland

Emily Pool joined Perennials and Sutherland LLC in 2015 armed with a strong background in retail management. In 2018 her role expanded from managing the New York territories to overseeing New York, Philadelphia and Washington, DC as Northeast Regional Manager. She now oversees the entire Northeast, including Boston and New England. 

Emily’s management style is best described as collaborative and cooperative. She strives to maintain an environment of mutual trust and support within her team as well as between her team and the manufacturers they represent at the David Sutherland Showrooms.  Emily’s exposure to the industry fluctuations in her market from 2018 to today have given her extensive insight to provide the company with definitive long-term strategic goals.  Her customer-centric focus has allowed her to foster long term customer relationships and continuously identify business opportunities in her region.

Emily grew up in Texas and has a Bachelor of Science in Merchandising and Marketing from the University of North Texas. She proudly calls New York City home.
